First Family Business - Now Group

Founded in 1957 as a family business the company has grown quickly from a small business to a medium-sized company – due to a lot of pioneering innovations in the packaging technology.

In 1981 the Dr. Walter Baur family took over the share majority. By strict re-organization in connection with investments in new and further development of the packaging technology and a clear concentration on market and clients the company became the technology leader in this line of business.

The ROVEMA Global Packaging Group LLC – main partner an American family – takes over the ROVEMA Verpackungsmaschinen GmbH as well as all accompanying subsidiaries - also including the production sites in Spain and the U.S.A. - on November 1st 2007.

The name is symbol of the new vision of ROVEMA and underlines the attempt to form a packaging group that acts globally stressing technical innovation as well as the delivery of leading products and services in this line of business.

Thus ROVEMA offers customers all over the world most individual packaging solutions – from product infeed up to end-of-line packaging
